Dr. Bala is an Interventional Cardiologist with special interests in coronary angiography, angioplasty, and complex cardiac interventional procedures. He is deeply invested in evaluating patients with ischemic heart disease, cardiac failure, valvular heart disease, and arrhythmic disorders.
With extensive experience in Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Bala has received numerous academic awards and honors during his medical training.
Dr. Bala performs cardiac procedures at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Fitzroy Public Hospital in Melbourne, and St John of God hospital in Bendigo. He consults in his rooms in Hawthorn East and Melton, providing cardiac care services to several towns in regional Victoria. He has a keen interest in rural service, extending his cardiac services to areas in rural Victoria such as Bendigo, Castlemaine, Swan Hill, Echuca, and Kerang.
He has published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed, reputed cardiology journals.
Committed to providing high-quality medical care to all his patients, Dr. Bala is also dedicated to medical education. He frequently lectures to GPs, nurses, and medical students and is a regular participant in local, national, and international cardiac conferences.
